When Sally Champlin arrives onstage, you immediately know you're in the hands of a masterful pro. Her very first song talk/raps you into a state of finger-snapping fun and her second song reveals one of those beautiful God-given voices that are so rare in this world. Whenever she sings, for large audiences or intimate settings, the comments she hears the most are how beautiful her voice is and how great she is onstage. The stage is her most comfortable home too. And she's always full of fabulous secrets that she reveals through her music. Her gifted producer, Jeffrey Bass, only had to hear her sing one Leonard Cohen song to say he wanted to work with her. Come hear this extraordinary singer LIVE!

Sally Champlin recently signed with Oscar-winning music producer, Jeffrey Bass (Eminem, Slim Shady, 8-Mile), and is currently recording songs for her album, "It's Rainin' in L.A." Upon graduation from high school, Sally earned four music scholarships that propelled her through San Francisco State College and on to New York, where she did theater and toured with several national tours. While living in New York, she sang in clubs and did studio work where she met the best musicians and co-wrote some great songs with Dizzy Gillespie, Ron Carter, Mike Longo and David Baker. Sally then moved back to California and worked in nightclubs, TV and films.

Among other works she's written, Sally totally enjoyed co-writing an original musical, "Snow Business", with her famous musician brother, Bill Champlin, two-time Grammy winner and long-time member of the rock group, Chicago. Her nephew, Will Champlin, won his first Grammy in 2009. A fine singer with a great voice, Sally specializes in original material from her album, "It's Rainin' in L.A." as well as unique arrangements of the Great American Songbook. She also loves to sing beautiful music in different languages.

Sally's TV and film credits include a recurring role on NBC's hit series, "Heroes," appearances on "Mike & Molly," "The Game," Disney's "Suite Life of Zack & Cody," Dick Wolf's "Dragnet," "Frasier," "Crossing Jordan," "Murphy Brown," "The Young and the Restless," and "Beverly Hills 90210." Sally also co-starred in the cult film "Ed Gein," with Steve Railsback and Carrie Snodgress.

Sally is represented by Amsel, Eisenstadt & Frazier, Inc. for Theatrical and Commercial work and by Avant Artists for Voiceover work.

Sally has spent the last six years re-conceiving her amazing voice and singing style from a classical sound to a crossover pop sound. She likens it to "jazz opera." She has also been working in nightclubs and steadily collaborating on new material that suits her emerging style to a T. "It's Rainin' in L.A." is her current album and it contains these new original songs. When Sally performs, she tailors her work to perfectly suit each venue – her songs include some unique arrangements of the Great American Songbook as well as her catalogue of great original material.
